Must have a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and a minimum of four years experience with project management and information technology. 2. Prior experience with LIMS software is preferred. 3. A minimum of 4 years documented experience in project management for IT applications. 4. The candidate should have excellent technical, communication, and writing skills. Desirable Experience: 1. Experience working in a public agency is desired, and specific experience in public health is a plus. 2. Highly organized and self directed; detail-oriented with no loss of big picture objectives; results oriented, a fast learner and accepting of change; ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. 3. Expert knowledge of the key components of project management (e.g., scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, integration) and associated tools and methodologies. 4. 4+ years experience in a role as project manager leading complex, enterprise-wide technical and/or business initiatives. 5. Experience managing multi-million dollar projects with multi-year project time lines. Led programs/projects with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, multiple business sponsors, 3rd-partys and vendors). 6. Experience influencing, driving and managing organizational and operational change. 7. Experience in risk management, conflict resolution and process improvement. Experience in multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery. 8. Strong knowledge of MS tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project, and Clarity / Workbench project management software. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Prior experience with LIMS software is preferred.
