*Data Technical Lead / Architect. The 3 key pieces are ETL (any tool is
fine), Data Modeling (preferably Erwin) and Reporting (Business Objects).
Candidate’s must have design / architecture experience and also be willing
to do code reviews and work with developers on a day 2 day basis. Someone
who only wants to do governance will not work.*
- Responsible for leading a team of ETL, Business Objects resources in
the design and development of a new Data Application or Dashboard
- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of
- ETL
- Data Model and Database
- Reporting - Business Objects Reporting Environment
- ETL
- Knowledge of ETL Best Practices
- Code Review & Recommendations
- Knowledge of DM Express or equiv (Informatica, DataStage, Data
Integrator)
- Knowledge of Source to Target environments (SQL Server, Oracle, Flat
Files)
- Data Modeling
- ERWIN Design Tool experience or equiv
- Ability to Design Data Models for Oracle and/or SQL Server
environments
- Strong Data/Analytics background, Data Governance, Data Quality
- Reporting Business Objects
- Strong Understanding of BI and Business Objects Universe and
Reporting environments
- Knowledge of Dashboard technology and implementations
