Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect
Location: Chicago, IL.
Duration: 3+ Months
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Responsible for playing a key role in the creation, implementation, and
oversight of Enterprise Information Architecture strategies based on
business strategy.
Works within the context of the Enterprise to promote the understanding and
application of the Enterprise Architecture strategies across all projects.
Ensures that the strategic direction is established and taken into account
as part of all information architecture related decisions that are made
across the Enterprise.
Research for industry best a practice, emerging technologies etc and makes
recommendations to advance the strategic capability of the client.
Participate in the development of an Enterprise Information Strategy for the
client and subsequent steps to implement it.
Defines portfolio level current and future state information architecture
along with a roadmap and develop measurement for success.
Distributes and communicates standard architectural recommendations.
Uses technical expertise to develop and deliver formal and/or spontaneous
presentations to business units and development teams.
Participate in the management of Enterprise Conceptual Data Model and
Enterprise Logical Data Model.
Required Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 9 years of progressively responsible experience in Computer
Systems related fields, including solution architecture, enterprise
architecture, business process architecture, and/or Information
architecture.
Ability to work well with teams and communicate at all levels of the
organization is mandatory.
Ability to keep up with innovations and best practices & emerging trends of
the marketplace related to Enterprise Architecture especially with
Information Architecture.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while effectively focusing on
priority issues.
Ability to meet individual deadlines and team goals.
Experience in Enterprise Information Management.
Good understanding of DMBOK.
Sound experience in Data Architecture Experience in Information Lifecycle
Management, Experience with Metadata Management solutions.
Experience in Data Quality Frameworks, Experience in working with Data
Governance best practices.
Experience / Exposure with Knowledge Management, Experience with various ETL
& BI tool set on various platforms.
