*Location: North Haven, CT. Duration: 7 Months.* *Description:* Performance Engineer required with Mainframes is critical. Experience with IMS systems, SAS, Mainview and APA experience is required. *Primary Skill Requirement:* Network Architecture, SDLC *Project Description:* Performance Engineer required with Multiple platform experience, including Mainframes. Performance engineering tasks include planning, testing, results analysis and recommendations. IMS, SAS, Mainview and APA experience is required Reviews, plans, and evaluates network\data systems. May troubleshoot network\data systems and recommend improvements to network. Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting. Provides tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. *Skills:* • May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of complicated tasks. • May lead and direct the work of others. • Typically reports to a project leader or manager. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
