*senior .Net Winforms Developer * *Austin ,Texas* *3+Months* * * .net and winforms development (please note, this is not the same as web development). *Project details:* Client planning a re-write of their current .NET infrastructure, which includes a set of centralized winforms-based applications connected to SQL Server 2008 Standard backend, as well as deployable winform applications connected to a local SQL Server instance (which shares data with the central servers via ascii & xml file transfer). For this initiative, there is need of 2-3 senior .NET Developers with expertise in Windows Forms development. Once selected, the candidate must be able to start work on the project immediately. * * *REQUIRED SKILLS:* * 7+ years experience working through majority of Systems Development Life Cycle phases. * Extensive experience in .NET 3.0 and 3.5. * 5+ years experience with Windows Forms development. * 5+ years experience with Client-side .NET development. * Experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL Server 2008. * Must be able to professionally document and comment all code developed. * Solid verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work well in a Team environment. PREFERRED SKILLS: * Experience with .NET SOAP and Web Services. * Experience with XML.
