Hand on Experience in AJAX, CSS, JavaScript and UI. *Key Accountability: * • Lead a growing geographically dispersed team of 15 web developers for Client and and ensuring that the team's work is of top quality. • Collaborate effectively with web development team as well as design, marketing, and development teams; provide technical advice and guidance about template design, browser limitations and web technology. • Expertise in JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML and CSS. Work with the teams and implement UI layer HTML, XHTML JavaScript. • Establish web coding standards and guidelines • A strong passion for producing quality software and web user interface • Prioritize workload for the teams to meet deadlines for assignments in the code release schedule • Stay current with the newest online technologies; research new technologies and make recommendations on implementations • Perform quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging and production environments • Reviewing technical specifications written by Web developers * * *Required Skills: * • At least 5 years professional Internet work experience • Ability to demonstrate previous work experience via URLs • Strong attention to detail • Experience working with offshore teams • Proven problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to operate effectively both independently as well and within a team • Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web • Mastery of Browser based technologies (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Flash, CSS, etc.) • Experience with XML technologies (XSLT, XPATH, XML, etc.) • Experience with a Version Control system (CVS, Perforce, Clearcase, Safe Source, etc.) • Experience with JAVA technologies (JSP, J2EE, Taglibs, Spring, Struts, Velocity, etc.) • Prior work experience on a large e-commerce site • Working knowledge of PC, UNIX, and Mac environments *Qualifiers:* • UI Developer candidates must be able to show work through urls or portfolio. • Ideally the candidates should have many web urls of projects they have worked on. • Apart from the job description some unique qualities we are looking for in this hire: • Should have incredible XSLT, XML, and JSP technical skills. • Should be open to debate, but not argumentative Location : San Jose, CA Start Date : ASAP Duration : 12 Months + # of Position : 1 Rate : $Keep it Low send me resume [email protected]
