*Position Title* – Sr. Mainframe DBA (10 Years Exp) *Location* – Trenton, NJ *Duration* – 8 Months *Pay Rate* – $53/hour (All Inclusive on C2C) *Description* OIT supplemental IMS Technical/Database support for LWD projects, LOOPS Purge and LOOPS History Purge. Years of Experience: 10 plus years Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study *Role Description:* · Install new releases of IMS and IMS related software; · Manage and administer IMS DBCTL environments; · Create and execute the processes to create new DBCTL systems; · Maintain IMS applications providing backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery; · Monitor space utilization for all IMS databases, Logs, etc; · Monitor IMS database fragmentation and perform reorgs when required; · Design and redesign IMS databases; · Work with all areas of OIT to facilitate successful completion of established goals; · Daily core-hour on-site presence and on-call availability during off hours.
