*1. Very Strong in Core Java fundamentals
2. Multi-threading concept should be very clear
3. Data Structures - particularly trees
4. JVM fundamentals - JVM optimization, heap size, garbage collection etc
5. Great problem solving, analytical skills
6. Good communication - can represent status clearly to the UBS managers
7. Knowledge of financial markets (particularly derivatives like options
etc) is an added advantage but not mandatory
8. We don't need any fancy J2EE/web technologies
