Position: SAP EDI Consultant.(Need: US Citizens & GC) ONLY. Duration: 5 Months Location: Midwest, MO Start Date: 3/22/2010 *Project * This position will be less focused on project lead activities and more with EDI programming and daily support. Good experience with Enterprise and AI are critical. *Position* Remedy tickets and daily monitoring related to EDI processes Mapping EDI requirements within AI tool Monitoring transactions *Job Description* May serve as project or technical lead for complex projects with varying degrees of flexibility for approach. Assist in applying results of metrics research and technical knowledge to determine root causes of problems and develop appropriate solutions. Design and develop simple to complex applications. Provide limited to moderate exploratory/discovery consulting services to internal customers. Lead the assigned projects to achieve quality solutions under moderate to indirect supervision. Has moderate degree of freedom to perform assigned tasks within schedule and cost. Estimates project resource requirements for multi-developer projects. May assign and track tasks for other team members. Provide broad exploratory / discovery consulting services to internal customers. Estimates project resource requirements for multi-developer and multi-team projects. Coach and train junior members of the team. Responsible for adherence to defined processes, project cost and schedule requirements. Develop / modify programs based on functional specifications, investigate and understand new technologies, conduct unit-tests, integration testing, code review and performance monitoring. Participate and assist in developing strategic roadmap from technical perspective where applicable. Bachelor's Degree in appropriate discipline or six years related experience plus six years of related exempt experience. Analysis - Seeks support and input from key team members before the start of an in-depth analysis of a problem. Customer Service Orientation - Provides superior customer experiences, while building long-term relationships and demonstrating a passion towards customer commitments.
