Job Description:
Skill Area: software licensing contracts, models, asset management lifecycle
and principles
Brief Job Outline
a. Interpret the licensing contracts
b. Work with the IT owners of the contract to understand the
installation base
c. Work with the IT teams to collect the installation and usage
information and prepare a reconciliation report
d. Load the reconciliation report into CA Unicenter
e. Perform regular reporting activities
f. Perform regular follow ups
g. Proactively escalate any issues
h. Work with the data received from CMDB tool, Opsware and ITAM and
be able to interpret it
Key Result Areas
a. 3-5 years experience in business and system analysis in a
distributed system environment
b. Should have strong knowledge of interpreting software licensing
contracts and licensing models
c. Should have strong knowledge of software license reconciliation
process
d. Should have knowledge of software asset management lifecycle and
principles
e. Previous audit experience is desired
f. Should have strong communication (written & oral) skills
g. Should have strong influencing skills and should be a team player
h. Should be organized in their approach and document management
i. Strong organizational skills and analytical skills
j. Should be knowledge on MS Office suite
