Title : Senior DB2/DATA Analyst Location: Sacramento ca Duration: 9 months State Govt project The Senior DB2/DATA Analyst will provide senior level AIX database administration and application programming will: • Perform database administration for DB2 UDB on AIX. This includes assisting in configuring, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, account administration, log reviews, and archiving • Support the administration of Business Objects Universes on AIX. This includes configuring, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, account administration, log reviews, and archiving • Support developers and users in designing, creating, and publishing reports with Business Objects • Analyze information needs, extract appropriate source data, transform extracted data to meet business needs, and load into reporting database • Perform programming, analysis, and testing functions for the WIC ExtraNet and ISIS • Participate in an established change management process that includes: documenting requirements; developing software solutions; testing (unit, system, and integration testing); and implementation Minimum Qualifications 1. Possess IBM Certified Specialist – DB2 User certification. (Pass/Fail) (1 pt) 2. Two years experience as a database administrator with at least 60% of time each year dedicated to supporting DB2 UDB on AIX databases. This includes AIX system administration, configuring, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, account administration, log reviews, and archiving. All two years of experience must include support of a database similar in size to the ISIS AIX reporting database. 2 Years (Pass/Fail) (1 pt) // 3 Years (3 pts) // 4 Years (5 pts) 3.
