Position:  Senior .NET Developers/UI


Responsibilities:

This is a hands-on role for a  senior .NET developer with a focus on
user interface development.  Candidate should be able to demonstrate
hands-on expertise with Microsoft*s newest UI technologies under
Framework 3.5 (see details below).  Candidate should be a Microsoft UI
guru capable of delivering a UI that *pops* and provides an
outstanding user experience in terms of performance, responsiveness
and look and feel.  The candidate will provide input into design and
development for a large-scale Web 2.0 application for a leading
provider of health management services and solutions. The candidate
will work closely with business analysts in determining application
requirements, will participate in the design, and will be largely
responsible for developing the UI tier of application.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

Candidate must be hands-on in all of the following areas:



*           Bachelor*s degree in computer science or related field.

*           8+ years developing public-facing, high visibility,
production web applications that are maintainable, scalable, and
reliable with a focus on UI tier.

*           6+ years in C#.NET and ASP.NET with emphasis on UI
technologies including WebForms, AJAX, SilverLight and WPF (desired).

*           6+ years experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

*           3+ years experience with XSL/XSLT (desired).

*           3+ years of experience using advanced Ajax techniques.

*           Comfortable with all flavors of LINQ (to objects, SQL,
Dataset, XML, Entities), Lambda Expressions, Expression Trees,
delegates, and anonymous methods.

*           6+ years experience integrating with heterogeneous data
sources and middle tier web services written in either .NET or
WebMethods.

*           6+ years hands-on experience with SQL Server or Oracle
(ideally both).

*           Comfortable coding from business requirements and/or UML.

*           Experience using TFS (or other current source control
system).

*           Experience with integrating 3rd-party / commercial / open-
source components.

*           Experience working in waterfall and iterative SDLC models
(e.g., Agile) ranging and flexibility to adapt to either type of
model.

*           Excellent analytic, organization, and most importantly
verbal/written communication skills.  Candidate MUST be articulate and
in general possess strong skills in the areas of listening, speaking,
and writing.

*           Ability to work well within a multi-cultural team
environment.

*           Ability to fill in the blanks, think outside the box, and
when required make sound technical decisions independently without
having complete information.



Nice-To-Have:

*           Knowledge and understanding of most common GoF Design
Patterns.

*           Comfortable with environment setup/configuration on all
tiers, including web servers, app servers, DB servers, development
computers, source control/TFS.

*           Was previously a SQL Server/Oracle DBA or functioned in
this capacity.
