Required)* *Location: Austin, TX* *Duration: 6 Months* *Rate: DOE* *Interview: Immediate * *IMPORTANT: * Candidate is required to provide laptop. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* Java/J2EE, JSP, SQL, Enterprise application server (EAS) - Weblogic Hands-on, Strong 8 – 10 years. Experienced in web application design/development and exposure to stored procedures *PREFERRED SKILLS:* XML web services, XSLT, XSD, Oracle, PL SQL *RESPONSIBILITIES:* Candidate will be a lead developer working closely with the Technical lead & Database developer responsible for designing & developing the technical deliverables for the project within the scope and timeframe as planned by PM. - Involved in JAD sessions & collaborative development sessions - Work in conjunction with rest of project team (Reqs, QA, Infrastructure and Ops lead) - Review detailed requirements documents and understand the specifications. Involved in technical reviews and peer reviews. - Produce Software design documents, Interface specifications, technical documents and/or conceptual model or page flows - Employ coding best practices as directed by Technical manager - Fix defects and resolve technical issues related to the system requirements - Develop code that meets or exceeds the desired quality - Provide task and progress updates to the PM and Technical manager on a weekly basis - Attend weekly status meeting - Prepare code and deployment packages for code build out.
