We are looking for *Sr. Cisco Network Design* in *Plano* *TX* for *6-12 months* assignment. *Duration - *6-12 months *Rate:* $48.00 C2C *Description - * Primary responsibilities: Cisco Network device configuration, IOS Best Practice Configurations, Vlan, Trunking, QoS, MPLS, BGP EIGRP, Serial, Ethernet interface configurations. Conducts feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans, design of digital/analog networks, and evaluation of network services/technology for current and future network development. Performs complex technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, systems integration for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems. Plans, designs, and implements networked systems, including configurations, supporting/troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, bridges, concentrators and switches. Conducts analysis, prepares reports, and works on project implementation. May serve as technical liaison with vendors. With minimal direction, applies principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge of related discipline. Demonstrates advanced understanding of WAN/LAN internetworking design elements including cost versus performance tradeoffs, protocol interoperability, network architecture development, and requirements for testing/proof of concept. Has advanced knowledge of platform operation systems (router, platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) and how they interact with the network. 8 years minimum of networking experience plus 1-3 years of technical leadership experience is desired. Demonstrates ability to independently document engineering standards and proposals or recommendations for all network capabilities. Demonstrates ability to independently formulate new procedures and coordinate network software and hardware installations.
