They will be working on a high-profile project to create a new collateral system, that will optimize the use of the firm's global inventory of collateral across locations and asset classes. They must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of developing Java applications for investment banks/hedge funds; taking high level requirements, turning them into a working application and then deploying that application. Experience of the repo, securities lending or collateral management business, while this is not required, will be desirable and the candidate will be expected to build an understanding of the business model. *Skills Required* Strong experience (5 years+) of Java, primarily within server-side development on Unix/Linux. Strong track record in developing investment banking applications. Proven ability to deliver high-quality software working in multi-person teams. Self-starter, able to take high-level requirements and convert them into a working application. Experience using Spring. Experience of unit testing frameworks.
