Data Analyst Skilled in business and technical level data analysissurrounding Risk, Finance and Compliance back office business areas Subjectareas of expertise include - Financial reporting, compliance reporting,Economic Capital and Financial Risk/Compliance Reporting, Master/Reference datamanagement and BASEL II compliance Analysis skill-set includes business andtechnical analysis of data Defining data architecture of the solution for Risk,Finance, Compliance reporting Business level analysis of data includesexperience analyzing across - Granularity · Understanding of Financial productscoverage – · Consumer vs commercial vs wholesale, delinquency managed vsclassifiably managed Cash Trades, Derivatives, Loans, Deposits are a sample fewin this space · · Subject Areas coverage – · Accounts, Pools portfolios,positions, transactions, collateral, obligor, facilities are a sample few inthis space · Definitions · Business reporting coverage – · Types of reportsgenerated for risk. Finance and compliance systems Technical level analysis ofdata includes experience analyzing across - ·Entity/Attributes Comparison &Data Mapping Analysis of processing and rules differences SLAs for dataacquisition, processing, storage, distribution and reporting Data QualityProcessing and Rules Data structures and data types Database technologydifferences Source feed format differences Data mart and reporting set-updifferences High level data modeling experience preferred Knowledge/SkillsRequired (List format only) Strong background in Database design and lifecyclemanagement Strong background in logical/physical data model. Familiarity with data modeling techniques and bestpractices Familiarity with Performance optimization techniques Ability to tuneSQL queries and database performance for OLTP and DSS applications with inframes of Software development process (Sybase IQ, Oracle , DB2 ) Contributesubstantially to the design and development of the data access DB layer Strongunderstanding of Information Access methods and patters.
