IBM WebSphere MQSeries / Message Broker Administrator

 

Location : Brooklyn, NY..

Experience Level - 7+ Years

Duration - Long Term Contract  

Rate - ALAP

 

1.         IBM Websphere MQ Series administration and system experience is a
must

2.         Wide hands-on project experience with MQ Series and Message
Broker administration and system on Windows 2003 servers/Linux is a must

3.         Must have hands-on experience installing and configuring
Microsoft Windows Clusters

4.         Must have hands-on experience installing and configuring MQ
Clusters

5.         Must have hands-on experience installing and configuring Message
Broker v 6.x

6.         Must have hands-on experience installing and configuring with
Omegamon

7.         Must have hands-on experience installing and configuring IBM
WebSphere Application Server (WAS)

8.         Must have hands-on experience installing and configuring IBM
WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR)

9.         Must have hands-on experience installing and configuring ITCAM
for SOA and HATS

10.       Minimum of 7 years experience in MQ Series Administration and some
applications development/support within a large organization

12.       Must have experience working with Oracle, SQL, DB2 and other major
database platforms

16.       Must be able to work on projects that extend MQ Series
infrastructure, MQ Clustering, SSL channels support, Publish/Subscribe, etc.

18.       Must be fully competent to work under general direction on complex
projects usually on specific assigned projects, issues and problems. 

19.        Several projects will usually be active at the same time, so the
ability to multitask is essential to success for this position

20.       Must have the ability to produce and provide documentation and
mentor existing staff

 

The ESB Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to the
following:

.          Configure Hardware and Software through all stages of the
implementation, focus to include (but not be limited to): Linux, WebSphere
MessageBroker (MB), MQ Series, WebSphere Application   Server (WAS),
WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR), ITCAM for SOA.  Particular
expertise to be developed/demonstrated for WAS and WSRR. 

.          Ensure the solutions recommended, designed, programmed, tested
and implemented maximize the capacity of the Department of Education (DOE)
resources 

.          Deploy, configure, test, and support all hardware/software
components in a highly available ESB environment according to project
schedule 

.          Administer ESB environment in support of application integration
requirements as determined by ESB application development team; configure
and support as required during application development life-cycle. 

.          Provide regular and appropriate communications to supervisory
staff on project and environment status
