System Admin Duration: 6-8 months Work Location: Tampa FL Technologies: Should have strong familiarity in implementing/installing/maintaining (not development) at least two or more of the following technologies that will enable developers to provide infrastructure environments to accomplish their development: Ab Initio, Business Objects, Websphere, BPM, Weblogic, TIBCO Knowledge of AIX/Linux operating system, sizing the environments a must Responsibilities: · Play a cross-functional managerial role across various functions supported by the shared service IT operations organization · Manage various facets of setting up and supporting multiple applications across multiple Shared Technology Environments (STE) from on-boarding to implementation and de-commissioning and activities - Relationship Management with Application teams, Support/Engineering, Other sector support teams such as SA/DBA/ISA, Budget / Actuals / Forecasting, Fincon STE Coordination, Application Pipeline Management, License Procurement / Maintenance · On-Board multiple Applications/Shared Technology Environments into Shared Services area and facilitate integration of such services with appropriate support teams · Manage shared technology environments governance and charge-back administration Prepare and Monitor KPIs and Metrics for the team regarding service, optimization, accomplishments and opportunities for improvement · Present such KPIs and Metrics to senior management · Participate in design discussions, understand business and technical requirements for any application and recommend System Architecture and System Integration best practices and foster utilization of shared technology environments · Identify Optimization opportunities in various business and technical processes, technology infrastructure and implement the same · Work with multiple teams towards completion of major infrastructure activities and projects like data center migration, application /technology stack upgrade · Recruit, train and manage large number of employees and contractor teams on-shore and off-shore · Mentor other team members to learn new technologies and support multiple technology areas · Quickly learn and build Subject-Matter-Experts in various areas · Interact with vendors to mentor teams distributed across multiple locations and time-zones · Ensure completion of support tasks and tickets in a timely and compliant manner · Creation and monitoring of project plan · Preparation and presentation of Budgets for various support activities across all applications · Strong focus on customer service and problem resolution · Effectively handle emergency situations 24 hours / 7 days a week. - Candidate must be able to quickly learn new technology and business areas and deliver results - Candidate must have very strong understanding of various technologies and system integration like : Ab Initio, Business Objects, Websphere, BPM, Weblogic, TIBCO, FAST Search, Documentum, EMS - Candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Job requires lot of meeting coordination and interaction with senior managers across various organization - Candidate must possess at least 8-10 years of experience in managing support for complex applications project or equivalent experience in a related area.
