Position: *Architect/ Team Lead- .NET* Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: Long term No. of positions: 2 *Business Purpose of Project /Project description (To be published in job boards) to help build the integration components between a Virtual Learning platform and the clients enterprise systems. *Job Functions or Responsibilities The resource will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: • Analyze, design, and develop code for all application tiers, as needed • Understanding the existing student information system (.NET based) to ensure cohesive integration components are built • Creating integration components in the form of business objects (DLL/libraries), or web services (XML/SOAP) • Create .NET web based application components to support development effort • Understand and be able to work with SQL server to create necessary database objects • Gathering (Elicit, Analyze, Document and Communicate) user requirements, and translating them into Workflow and business rules • Perform and support QA and testing activities as needed for the integration components *Must Have Educational Qualifications/Skills/Experience (Basic Qualifications) *Minimum Years Required • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of applicable work experience with at least 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Sr. Developer or Technical Team Lead with the Microsoft .NET Architecture framework, including ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET 10 • 5+ years of experience with Object Oriented Design and Analysis, application design patterns. 5 • 3+ years of experience with web services, WSDL, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), XML, XSD, AJAX 3 • 5+ years of experience with MS SQL server, leveraging SQL 2005 features in developing optimized Database code 5 *Must Have Soft Skills/Experience (i.e. communications, environment) • Experience with .NET 3.5+ technologies including WCF, WPF, and WF • SharePoint 2007 development and SQL Server 2005/SSIS is a strong plus • Experience leveraging open source development tools (such as Subversion, NUnit, CruiseControl.Net, NCover, MSBuild, NAnt, FxCop) a plus • Extensive experience with design patterns, system architectural concepts and frameworks • Technical expertise in high performance website systems, web services, in a .Net/IIS environment, and performance tuning/scaling of such systems • Extensive experience designing and/or developing solutions for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) • Strong communication skills, in both technical and business terms Thanks & Regards, Andy Vaptech Inc 15 Corporate Place South, Suite 201,Piscataway, NJ 08854 Phone: 732-767-0700 X 3008 || Fax: 732-767-9669 E-Mail: [email protected] || URL: www.vaptech.com
