*Job Title: **SSIS/SQL Server 2000/2005 Developer** (4 Positions)* *Location: Colmar, PA* *Rate: Open * *Duration: 4-6 months * * * *Note: Locals Required….* * * *Job description:* We need an expert SSIS/SQL Server 2000/2005 Developer. Will be pulling data from 4-5 SQL server systems *Requirement:* Must have 5+ years of experience in a Microsoft SQL server environment with heavy involvement in database and ETL development and strong familiarity with Datawarehouse life cycle Must have experience in multiple areas of database design including ETL development, dimensional modelling, performance/tuning, SQL server administration, selection of database tools for support, and database Scripting, database queuing, and programming constructs *Duties and Responsibilities: * - Work with senior database developer and data architect to design database objects supporting system functionality - Tune existing SSIS packages and T-SQL code for performance - Maintain service broker components - Actively support the development effort by authoring stored procedures, functions, views and check constraints - Act as a resource for the development team as they interact with the data, ensuring adherence to corporate standards as well as industry best practices - Review and make recommendations for database parameters, tuning, caching, threading and Real Time processing versus batching - Converting transformation requirements into derived fields, calculations and lookup code components - Applying various techniques to optimize inserts into the Datawarehouse including bulk loading, set-based operations, optimizing data conversions - Coding in the context of synchronous and asynchronous SSIS processing with regard to memory and resource utilization - Ensuring specific code branches are optimized around performing the necessary transformations as well as error handling - Develop scripts for batching of jobs and support ad-hoc reporting -- Neo Sr. Technical Recruiter 3 L’Amour CT, Dayton,New Jersey – 08810 | P: 201-204-3883 | F: 201-603-1326 | Web: www.augustuss.com Yahoo IM: neo.recruit...@yahoo.com | n...@augustuss.net
