*7+ Months* *Client: GaDDS* * * *Note:* · *Locals only* · *Need Previous exp with state Govt experience.* This position will provide business analysis leadership and support for various technology projects supported by DDS' Project Management Office and IT application development teams. *Responsibilities include: * · Forming and leading analysis and design sessions; · Publishing project communications (meeting minutes, project documents, etc.) under the direction of a Project Manager; · Defining, documenting, and managing requirements (functional, technical, etc.); · Developing data and process models; · Collaborating with business users and technical experts; · Ensuring business satisfaction services and products; · Understanding and communicating user expectations. Candidates submitted for this position must have the following minimum qualifications and skills: · 5+ years in an Information Technology field with at least the last 3 years in a business analysis role; · Requirements elicitation and management; · Translation of business requirements into data and process models; · Ability to develop work products in support of project work;, e.g. process decomposition diagrams, data models, data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, state diagrams; · Ability and desire to teach structured analysis and design techniques to staff members including JAD or JRP facilitation; · Strong analytical, written and verbal skills; · Working directly and effectively communicating with all levels of staff and management in the client departments, as well as different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; · Prior developer experience using *COBOL, CICS *and* DB2* software experience is a plus; · Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project; Preference will be given to candidates that have the following qualifications and skills: · Completion of a degree in an Information Technology or related field of study; · OO modeling experience in UML; · Prior experience as the lead business analyst in projects integrating OS/390 mainframe and Windows/Intel hardware platforms; · Prior experience filling an IT role in projects that followed the Project Management Institute (PMI) project management methodology.
