Job Description: Key responsibilities of role: The Project Management Office of PepsiCo is seeking a technical candidate that would contribute and improve the project tools operational activities for Program Metrics Reporting and methodology enablement. The individual would be placed on a large-scale project for an ERP implementation. * Weekend (and some holiday) support may be required. Weekend support can be performed remotely, and would be on a rational basis. An estimation of time spent on weekend support is approximately 2 hours daily (each on Saturday and Sunday), every other weekend. Responsibilities: Develop reports and trouble-shoot existing Business Objects reports and environments. Assess current Business Objects environments and constraints, make recommendations to increase efficiency and improve stability of development efforts. Develop, maintain and report on work plans in MS Project Server Facilitate incoming requests from acknowledgement through agreed-to-completion dates. Ability to complete end-user administration in tools (adding, removing users). Trouble-shoot and provide first-level support for: Resolve technical and end-user issues. Assist end-users with application installs. Create and update user and procedural documentation. Deliver training on various level; one-one basis or to large groups, with varying aptitude levels. Make technical recommendations to enhance toolset to meet new business needs (how to further leverage SharePoint features). Seek to find improvements and make recommendations in order to increase efficiencies. Work seamlessly with teams to understand requirements. Ability to take on additional tasks over time. Business Objects development and knowledge to support the environment. 2+ years exp Data Mart, Informatica, ETL. Ability to operationally monitor project tools for conduit/interface successes- trouble-shoot and communicate issues as needed. 3+ years exp MS Project Server. 4+ years exp SQL server/Oracle. 3+ years exp MS SharePoint. 4+ years exp Advanced MS Excel (building macros, etc.). 3+ years exp MS Project Server. 1+ years exp Borland Caliber. 1+ years Borland Star Team. 1+ years exp eRoom.
