Title/Role: Java Developer
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: San Diego, CA
Position Description
Candidate will be an adaptable self-starter with a desire to collaborate
with the team and contribute ideas to ensure a successful product. Candidate
will be an experienced J2EE developer capable of working with all levels of
applications from client-side HTML scripting to database SQL. Candidate will
be familiar with web app architecture.
Responsibilities
. Troubleshoot, develop and unit test J2EE apps. Apps include a
web app for internal use, external customer, and an app for data interchange
with health
Care plans, banks, and other partners. .
Required Skills, Education and Experience
. Understanding of software engineering principles and object
oriented design.
. Experience with development in an agile development
environment.
. Understanding of Java/J2EE technologies including EJBs.
. WICKET experience
. Proven experience with front-end user interfaces and JSP
programming techniques including HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
. SQL experience and good understanding of SQL basics.
. BS Computer Science or equivalent
Desired Skills, Education and Experience
. Knowledge of Oracle databases, stored procedures and PL/SQL.
. Understanding of Hibernate, XML, Apache, and JBoss.
. Experience with Linux.
. Experience with EDI, XML, and data transformation processes.
. Experience with Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports, or another
reporting framework.
. Understanding and Experience with data warehouse applications.
. Experience performing application builds and deployments to
Linux using ANT build tools.
