1. Project Coordinator for a Grassroots ICT Project
Location - Mysore
We are looking for a project coordinator for an ambitious field based intervention at Mysore. The candidate must have program management skills with 10 to 15 years work experience, in the field of social development and have excellent oral and written skills in Kannada. Key responsibility would be to coordinate the design and implementation of the project. Prior experience in working with rural women and comfort with basic use of information technologies will be an advantage. Good people skills and ability to scope out work within ambiguous contexts would be required. Women candidates are preferred.
2. Web Designer
Location � Bangalore
The work involves development and maintenance of website for ITfC and ITfC clients.
Skills in html, CSS, PHP, SQL is required
Oral and written skills in English and basic knowledge of Kannada, good people skills and dynamism to excel in learning situations would be required.
Part time possibilities can also be explored.
3. Research Coordinator
Location - Bangalore
We are looking for bright and committed people to strengthen our research team. We have vacancies for 2 positions � senior research coordinator and research coordinator.
The work would involve primary and secondary research with skills in qualitative and quantitative methods.
The candidate should have an interest in Information Society issues including
� Telecom and media policies
� e-Governance
� Social impact of technology
� Intellectual Property Rights
The candidate should be a PhD / M Phil or a post-graduate with at least five years relevant experience. Appropriate experience in and a strong perspective on people-centered development is desirable. The senior research coordinator role envisages a fair amount of leadership with capacities to independently take on research assignments.Excellent oral and written skills in English, good people and team skills and dynamism to excel in learning situations would be required.
