ben To: Performance Studies Discussions <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [tsoa-psdiscuss] Expert Needed: Cell Phones and Teens (ASAP) A friend of mine is working on a story for the Daily News about a mini- riot that happened at John Jay High School in Brooklyn last week when school officials confiscated cell phones from some teenaged students. Four students were arrested and got pretty rough with the police, according to reports. She needs to interview someone from a cultural studies background *today* who might be able to provide some insight about the relationship between teenagers and cell phones. This would be ideal for anyone who is doing work on youth culture, media studies, or technology and performance. Please feel free to pass this along to anyone who might be interested. Her name is Nicole Pesce and her number at the Daily News is 212.210.1653.
