I hope you are doing great We have Urgent position open from *End-Client* do let me know if you have any one for this position *Position: DB Architect* *Location: Foster City, CA* *Duration: 6 months* *Rate:$45/Hr C2C all inclusively* 10+ Years of DB Architect exp required Consultant must have worked as SQL DB Architect PLEASE READ AND SUBMIT MATCHING RESUMES, *Job description * The Sr. DB Engineer/Architect position provides Architecture and Design of Database-based Solutions for multiple Client’s Services deploying MS SQL Server. *This includes but is not limited to: * HW/SW Standards and infrastructure decisions Defining consolidation deployment methodologies for MS SQL Requirements gathering for all projects and distribution to Delivery Team as appropriate Capacity Planning and Sizing Backup/Restoration Strategies Advanced Performance tuning Advanced Troubleshooting and Problem Determination SOE/TSR standards definition Deliver Methodologies and Standard Guidelines for all aspects of project development from requirements gathering, through physical database design, capacity planning, performance tuning and troubleshooting Design and develop standard software infrastructure patterns Assist in supporting application teams in creating or consulting on (TSR) compliant solutions to accessing the databases. Provide assistance in developing, promoting and supporting data management concepts and processes for Data Security. *Required Skills * 10+ years DBA/Architect experience with MS SQL Server, including experience with versions 2005 & 2008. Expert knowledge of client/server methodologies and techniques Understanding of integration points between Database server and Middleware Strong Conceptual thinking and ability to generalize Ability to concurrently support multiple projects and applications.
