Participate in an on-call rotation in support of the Web Sites and Infrastructures that include nights, weekends and holidays. Work with Operations Technical Support, Engineering and End Users to solve and application related problems. Monitor health of Web Hosting software components. Create and maintain documentation of Web Hosting envionrments to include physical architecture diagrams and software inventory. ** Required skills:** 3+ years of Websphere Application Server administration and support experience (configuration, version upgrades, patch installation, troubleshooting and application deployments. Experience supporting solutions using other technologies such as Apache Tomcat or JBOSS and Web Server Products like Apache or IBM HTTP Server desired. Previous experience in a large environment with clustering, failover/recovery and load balancing strategies is desirable. Experience supporting commercial Unix operating systems, especially AIX, Linux, Solaris. Knowledge and practice of Perl or Unix shell scripting helpful. Deployment experience with J2EE, EJB JSP, HTML and XML required. Results oriented, willing to take responsibility and accept accountability for action.
