Role: Systems QA Analyst
Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour
Location: San Francisco, CA {LOCALS}
Duration : 12+ months

TIVOLI EXPERIENCE IS A ABSOLUTELY MUST...
Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM), IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator (ITDI or
TDI), LDAP, DB2/UDB and Unix/Linux scripting ability.
Experience Level:
Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years related experience including familiarity
with testing automation tools.
Description:
Uses advanced knowledge in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality
assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test
scripts. Works with client to establish and maintain a consistent test
methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process. May serve
as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project. Analyzes, tests,
and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews
of business requirements and functional specification documents. Uses
knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying,
evaluating, and resolving complex test problems. Participates in planning
and directing quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitoring
project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Logs, tracks, and
verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all
phases of QA process. Researches new products and industry methodologies
and provide inputs in the development of new concepts, techniques, and
standards. May be responsible for designing and distributing training
materials
Participates in the testing and implementation of emerging data access
control technologies. Provides Prepares test cases, scenarios, and data for
trial runs and for the overall systems testing. Participates in developing
test plans and results documents. Candidate must be familiar with
information security best practices.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing of web
based applications, client/server applications and object-oriented systems.
Expertise in software testing methodologies and the development of test
plans, test cases and test scripts. Experience in both manual and automated
web based testing. Excellent working knowledge of QA activities in a
Web-enabled application environment. Excellent working experience with
implementation and testing of third-party vendor Client/Server/Web-enabled
application software. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to exercise judgment independently and ensure commitments and
deliverables are met. Demonstrated ability to work in teams and as an
individual contributor. Excellent customer service and organizational
skills. Strong analytical, planning and time management skills.
Self-starter.
Prior work experience with Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM), IBM Tivoli
Directory Integrator (ITDI or TDI), LDAP, DB2/UDB and Unix/Linux scripting
ability.
