Need: Java Developer w/Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
Location: Sarasota, Florida. {in person Interview needed}
Duration: 6 months
Rate: open
***Please note that the last week three candidates were submitted, all three
were interview via phone the next day, however all two were passed on due to
communication skills and the third did not pass the PL/SQL portion of the
interview. This client is picky.we have made several placements with
them.they are motivated to get these two filled***
Main focus is bringing someone in who can come up to speed very quick, with
little or no training, and work with a database-oriented design team. They
should be very skilled at SQL, PL/SQL, and very familiar with databases.
They should be very skilled at Java, with experience in JDBC and Hibernate.
GWT experience is a plus, but can be the weak part of their repertoire.
Communication is a must, as they have eliminated candidates in the past
simply because they had a hard time either hearing or speaking English.
Educational/Certification:
* Four year college degree in a scientific or technical discipline
Graduate degree preferred
Responsibilities:
* Work within a team environment to design, develop, and support
insurance and financial related applications Assist in the analysis and
design of user requirements Development of and adherence to standards for
coding, documentation, object reuse, etc.
* Set and meet target dates
* Interface with clients to determine needs Maintain and promote
company values and culture Assist in the development of quality assurance
processes
Technical Requirements:
* Solid understanding of object oriented design principles including
UML
* Three or more years of java development experience including
multithreaded, JDBC, servlets, JSP, RMI, JMS, EJB Experience with GWT
* Experience with java performance profiling
* Strong Oracle/PL/SQL experience
* Experience developing Oracle functions and procedures
* Experience in web design, HTML and JavaScript
* Must have solid experience with Hibernate (client is running v3.3)
* Knowledge of XML Ability to extend existing object models when
appropriate and create new models when necessary
* Detailed experience with documentation of and adherence to technical
standards for a software development environment
