-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hey guys,
I know that otr is requested quite often and that you already did some thinking. But as otr is still not available I might suggest an idea I had when thinking about it. As far as I understand telepathy correctly mission control is used the somehow bring together channels between connectors and Gui elements. My idea is to append an otr module of some kind to mission control. As far as I know there is some initial request send from one client to another in plain text to initialise the otr encrypted communication. So I thought maybe it is possible to check this some how within mission control an if such request is send and the accepts to create an encrypted channel instead of opening a normal one. I eager to hear your opinons on this. If you think this might fit in the architecture I might start hacking it. But I wanted to be sure that it does not screw up your concepts behind telepathy greetings fabian -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJMssOWAAoJEDdA/XdFliNtVS8P/20aQ98QtM5slnY9YYbvboUd 3n1GmvYmp4usXtRI3LYTTW3EkjYuqsCifIuFiZu7ewloo+O70THLOMnVDJsDcreC kOAn8wW1OIlaSGYC9S7nW7B8bycGwcIdDvISNJ943R3jiq5Lvjbl0I/mc/2UjeHd /DLo7toceDw1GWSj/6O/n4WehDDZPzYTxCCg5BHR4GBGztXQJpmeY5lb04jeqe/r TPSdsoTwlf+wB1qFJiHi29VBWx71V03yytj41z2M8mSggV0EnK8I5Im+o/KtTGPE 79xRJsYJPbbk9PpXGJY7DGYjK0f0zJ30qIePVXOf8X9KY5BHKQ9/IY92882rHYyV UF0eSRIVfoFMxunRRFteMGasdk062dCeY3CHLUC3hzHgkUOouplK3LjZnPvuYHER o5xod/KwiXfDmIX0FKX5wd55Y5QfWujkYy5aDsVZ/LPI7uZH2QMGvxy5kVWKmpoQ x3tvfQ4VQdOiDuyY6GPJFny86TmM67XRiA34fvbDdoRNQU2bon9gvwKGpDBxLbCZ /qa+cEAXa2G4D0/4V7Wm258ybF3JWu3Tb9PGqEVnmJUh9v1siCY248qjwXKZrjNO eHY1sKdPkrkoi82q+dEcJPImkoQwjoPcY1K5bxBfOB4aTQDow5sa0HfE10lpHcKe mlvC/vtLE/YiI+oKp6LA =2Okr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ telepathy mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/telepathy
