I was working with the TT and had set INCLUDE_PATH,COMPILE_EXT and COMPILE_DIR. I was thinking that it would be really convenient/useful if subdirectories under COMPILE_DIR could be optionally relative to TEMPLATE_DIR. Consider the following directory structure from an actual project of mine:
f: -projects --site ---lib ----data -----templates ------html ------email -----cache ------templates INCLUDE_PATH = f:/projects/site/lib/data/templates COMPILE_DIR= f:/projects/site/lib/data/cache/templates If I'm working on this project and I know that all my templates are going to be under the INCLUDE_PATH directory, i really don't need subfolders f,projects, site, lib, or data to appear under the COMPILE_DIR directory. Does anyone else think this would be a good idea? Anyone know why this _shouldn't_ be an available option? I'd love to see this idea incorporated into the Template Toolkit -Stephen
