Right, I've been looking at Template::Test which I was hoping to use to test a module I'm writing here at work (it can be rendered as a view)
First up, is anyone actually using Template::Test outside of it's role in testing the Template toolkit? hands up? Anyone, class, anyone? Primarily my concern is that Template::Test is not interoperability with any other Test suites. It really could do with being adapted to use the Test::Builder backend, and not to assume (unless you frob a package variable) that it's the last test that's going to run. My secondary concern is that it doesn't allow you to name tests. I can't see from looking at any of the test suites what tests are actually meant to do. I have a few ideas about how to change that.
