Well, I was going to jump in and offer all my opinions, but Simon just beat me to it. Everything he said, I agree with.
I want localization by default, especially if the "performance penalty" is on the same order as making copies of subroutine args. IOW, I recognize that I'm taking a hit every time I do
my ($var1, $var2, $var3) = @_;
instead of just using @_ directly, but the penalty is trivial compared to the benefits. Andy, I think your idea for implementing INCLUDE in TT3 is great and exactly the way to go.
I never had any problems distinguishing INCLUDE and PROCESS, but then I'm not that guy who charges ahead without reading the docs, so I'm probably a bad example. :)
Anyways, there's my vote. And, while I'm chiming in, thanx for the great module. I only wish I'd discovered it sooner.
