Oops! Mea Culpa. > I think prototypes aren't generally a good idea, so I'd go for the latter > approach. Sounds good. > I'd like to > propose that generated code declare only lexical variables whose names > are prefixed with an underscore, that class of names being henceforth > reserved for use by the TT. Yep, that works for me. Or perhaps use a _tt_ prefix to be extra clear that they're TT's lexical variables. > I'd be happy to work up some patches, but I'm not clear on the > appropriate submission procedure. That would be great. The ASP is: $ svn commit You should have write access now. Any problems just shout. Feel free to throw anything past me (or the list) for review if you like, but as long as it doesn't break anything or change TT functionality then I'm happy for you to just go ahead and fix/commit those things without further ado. I'm planning a new release some time soon (next few weeks-ish) so let me know how you're getting on and we'll try and get everything pushed out in one go (if possible). Many thanks! A (BTW: I know I've still got some outstanding patches that need to be applied so don't anyone panic (yet) if you've sent a patch to me or the list and not heard a Yay or Nay back... I'll be working through some of those next week). _______________________________________________ templates mailing list [email protected] http://mail.template-toolkit.org/mailman/listinfo/templates
