I've been studying the architecture of TT2 and in the process started looking at AppConfig. While TT2 is being very actively maintained, this module, which TT2 has as a dependency, seems to be a bit neglected.
https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Dist/Display.html?Name=AppConfig I did find this very old but interesting post to this list, regarding AppConfig... http://mail.template-toolkit.org/pipermail/templates/2001-November/002011.html ...where Andy writes: abw> I've got an email folder stuffed full of comments, abw> suggestions and patches for AppConfig but I never seem to abw> find the time to bring it to the top of the TODO list.... So I guess my question is, what is the story behind the current state of AppConfig? Is it just a case where it works well enough and is stable enough for the needs of TT2? I was considering using AppConfig for a project outside of TT2, so inquiring minds what to know. ...BC -- =====================================[ bill.co...@unh.edu ]== Bill Costa 1 Leavitt Lane UNH IT -- 1st Floor University of New Hampshire Durham, NH 03824 USA Voice: +1-603-862-3056 No good deed...
