I think that is a bad idea. You should at least support back one version. Even
if there wasn't an issue with FileMaker 11 support. And even though it's free
most people would and should wait a month or two before upgrading a server. Or
more

Subject: Re: TeraScript-Talk: OS X support strategy

Going to any new OS is a big step, although most found it fairly painless going
to 10.9.
That said, I do have a major hold back from updating my servers. FileMaker 11
doesn't run correctly on 10.9 so at present I am VNCing to one of my servers
(10.8) to access my FIleMaker dbs. I haven't tried FMP Server 11 on 10.9 so it
may be a moot issue but these are always the sort of thing that traps us.
If Terascript were only to support 10.9 I would have to purchase another
machine and roll it out cautiously but that is probably the best course of
action anyway.

users: Apple has made a significant policy change with the latest OS X release.
You can now install 10.9 on to nearly every system sold since 2009 for free.
Due to this, we suspect that the vast majority of Mac users will upgrade their
systems to this OS and we'd like to know from you if that is or isn't the case.
For the upcoming release of TeraScript 7, we are now considering supporting OS
X 10.9 only and dropping support for all older releases. Please let us know
your thoughts on the matter. Thanks, Robert
