Clients.ini is read by the WISP module in the IIS or Apache server.


It is verified to be the latest file on each new incoming request, which is to 
say that changes take effect immediately.



That said, some aspects of the server affinity functionality, which is driven 
by codes in the cookie, may override the configuration. Said another way, the 
configuration may only apply fully when it's handling the first request of a 
new session.

Does anyone know if I make changes to the client.ini file in the TeraScript 
configuration folder if it takes effect immediately without re-starting services



I don’t know if the file is cached.



I made a change (removed a service) and the file saved it (closed and re-opened 
to verify), but there is still activity on that service.
