Hi I have implemented tesseract in my iPad app as it seemed to be the "best" solution for enabling handwritten Chinese character recognition. I am open for other suggestions, if something else should exist...but so far Google has not provided me with alternatives. However, I did not find any already existing traineddata for handwritten chinese, so my question is if anyone is aware of traineddata for handwritten chinese? It appears to be quite heavy to create training data for Chinese because of the many characters and even heavier for handwritten, so any existing training datas would be fantastic.
