What version of tesseract do you try to compile? There is no basedir.cpp
basedir.h in current code.

The error comes from MinGW - compiler you choose to use:
d:\mingw\include\stdio.h:345:12: error: expected initializer before
'__mingw__snprintf'
 extern int __mingw_stdio_redirect__(snprintf)(char*, size_t, const char*,
