This happens on qemu-kvm (virt-manager), and seems like it could be a blocker for final? There's a test case that Workstation should be functional in current and previous VMs. The work arounds: use virtio video driver instead of qxl; play hide and seek with an application, once it launches the mouse arrow appears.
