i'm glad to see this revived.

As I mentioned before, my vote goes to B + updates-testing checkbox for
prereleases.

That way we can:
- test the compose as is, even installing from lives
- bypass broken u-t packages

But also:
- install directly with u-t in case that compose is installing but broken
after install but fixed on u-t

Imho this will cover all the broken cases except when compose brokes the
installation process
