Hi All...

I thought I would install build 118 on the XO-1.5 I have so I could contribute
to the testing process. But very strange things happened!

First, the download seemed to go much too fast. There may have been a problem
there.

Then I tried to install the software from the download on the usb stick. I did
a startup incorrectly... the usb was plugged in. I held down the "check" key.
Then I realized my mistake and did a hard quit (holding down the power button),.

I started up as instructed, holding down the check key. It went into the Gnome
desktop before I could press the escape (X) key.

Another hard quit. Tried again... this time got to the "ok" prompt. Tried to
type in the installation instruction... the space bar had changed into a ">"
key!

Went to Write to test the space bar... this time it went to a "View Source:
Write Activity" window.

Went to Speak to test the space bar... "View Source: Speak Activity"

Yikes! I've created a monster!

What should I do now???

Caryl
