Sharing does work, I've tried it. You're seeing the new Sugar toolbar for the first time. See the attached screenshot of Write on os240py shared with Write on os125. The "share with" UI element has been compressed into a single icon on the activity menu. In this screenshot, hovering over the "share with" UI element has brought up the insensitive icons for the two sharing modes.
