I think that would be useful, especially if it can be reproduced ... you might then also refer to this report as well as your reproduced logs. > Write on one of the XO-1.0 went into an infinite loop (100% cpu usage and no > updates to the display), http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/2284 how do we > diagnose this? Generally ... - .sugar/default/logs ... look for interesting output from any of the processes, - dmesg ... look for curious output, Specifically, this backtrace suggests that at the time gdb attached to the process and halted execution, the process was deep in abiword handling a key event, breaking a paragraph. I'd wonder if a key was jammed down. A few more backtrace captures, interleaved with execution (continue, Ctrl/C, bt), may have gathered different results. In other words, we can't be totally sure that the problem is in breaking a paragraph unless we get many backtraces that confirm it; or that a reasonable number of backtraces show no significant change to the stack. s/XO-1.0/XO-1 > Record on XO-1.0 - picture, video and audio fine but mic pick up was > low (maybe the XO settings), there is a resolution option but you > can't change it Intentional.
