Great! Please retire some of the known faulty prototypes now. ;-) So that you don't keep hitting the known problems. > One laptop had no wifi on first boot after switching to Gnome, > ifconfig showed only lo0. Please keep an eye out for this unit during your next tests. Repeating a fragment of the startup sound suggests the audio buffer empty interrupts are not being serviced. It will need more analysis. > Shutdown is very fast, so fast that the warning symbol screen is > visible for less than 1 second and is often truncated. OpenFirmware's "Recovering from journal ..." also happens on 11.3.1, by the way, so this isn't something new for 12.1.0. I've tested; the warning goes away if the collector is run again, which probably means OpenFirmware has marked the journal as processed. By the way, we discovered a bug in OpenFirmware ext2, ext3, and ext4 filesystem handling recently, so please upgrade to Q4D09 before you use the XO-1.75 power log collector again. http://lists.laptop.org/pipermail/devel/2012-April/034812.html http://wiki.laptop.org/go/OLPC_Firmware_q4d09 > The new open firmware based power log collector seems to be working > well on these laptops. Thanks! I have reviewed the power logs briefly. I welcome any other feedback. -- James Cameron http://quozl.linux.org.au/ _______________________________________________ Testing mailing list [email protected] http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/testing
