I believe that "Use Acceptance Testing" simply refers to the contractor's testing of their ability to receive transactions over the routes providers will be able to send them. In essence, this means telecommunications testing. Presumably, it would also include appropriate routing once a transaction is in the door to the appropriate translator. I don't believe it would go any further than that. Further testing/certification is required by CMS by April 16, 2002.
This is my reading -- worth about 2 cents, I'm sure. :o) Regards, Larry Watkins Vice President & COO Claredi Corporation Office: (801) 444-0339 x204 Fax: (770) 419-5295 Mobile: (770) 331-1898 e-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: Dande Sudhakar [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, February 18, 2002 9:32 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Transmittal : AB-02-020 - Change Request - 2039 Hi, Please refer to Transmittal AB-02-020 Dated Feb, 8th 2002, Change Request 2039 - DHHA, CMS. Here it is clearly mentioned that "contractors must complete their user acceptance testing of the inbound X12N 837 (4010) by April 1, 2002." Like wise different dates have been specified for all othe transactions. Could any body please clarify what exactly "User acceptance Testing" means.
