An app engine port would be very useful as people would be able to
very easily setup a private instance on a domain. PHP can actually be
run on app engine

The datastore is probably the biggest issue when it comes to the port.

It should also be noted that PHP support is the top voted for issue on
app engine project so it wouldn't be ridiculous to suggest that
official support could be coming in the future.
