Hang on. I discovered what the problem was. configure --help no longer lists --disable-multiplatform and I thought that this was the default as of 2.99.0 However, it is not the default so I was looking at a broken install, either 2.99.0 or 2.99.1; 2.99.4 works so far. Can we get configure --help to produce an entry for --disable-multiplatform or make it the default? Thanks.
