I asked the author, Alan Jeffreys, about this last year, and he
clearly said that he wanted St Marys Rd to have an LPPL
(Debian-compliant) license. This is what is recorded in the `standard'
location, Graham Williams' LaTeX Catalogue.
the documentation is out of date, basically.
