Hi,

I have an odd problem with a .fmt file in teTeX-2.0.2, that worked
fine in teTeX-1.x. Even though initex makes no complaints when
producing the file, TeX always barfs on it: "(Fatal format file error;
I'm stymied)"

To avoid spamming the list, I've put the TeX source and the resulting
.fmt file here:

    http://gallatin.physics.lsa.umich.edu/~dwchin/tetex/

To produce the .fmt file, I run this sequence:

    initex phyzzm_maker
    mv phyzzm_maker.fmt phyzzm.fmt

And I get the error message if I do

    tex \&phyzzm foobar

Another data point: if, instead of using \&phyzzm on the command
line, I put "\input phyzzm" at the top of foobar.tex, and then
run "tex foobar", things work just fine.

The platform is RedHat Enterprise Linux WS, 2.4.21-15.ELsmp;
gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-34).

Thanks in advance,
Dave
